This intimate event amplifies the crown women wear, the courage, hustle, and new ways of leveling up the game of women empowerment for current and future generations. Join BAMS Fest as we honor women whose courage and social activism is paving the way for change, human rights, and arts advocacy. This year’s honorees include: Liz Miranda - MA State Senator, 2nd Suffolk district Chastity Bowick - Civil rights leader and transgender health advocate, empowering marginalized communities Cindy Diggs - Social activist and community connector dedicated to youth advocacy and anti-violence initiatives Katiria Colón-Thomas - Media trailblazer and founder of ExpozedTV, amplifying Black and Brown creatives Superintendent Nora L. Baston - Boston Police veteran championing community engagement and public safety Sheena Collier - Equity champion and President & CEO of Boston While Black Veronica Robles - Renowned Mariachi singer and cultural leader fostering Latino heritage and empowerment All hosted by renowned spoken word and multidisciplinary artist, Amanda Shea. DJ Brandi Chanel spinning music for all the Queens!
